We have started the ITM UNIVERSITY PARIVARTAN blog.
Every year Techfest takes social initiatives to play its part as youth organization in generating awareness and developing an inclination of youth population towards the current social problems Techfest Green Campus Challenge is such an initiative to involve people in Sustainable Development and aware them about effects of neglecting the situation. Green Campus Challenge has been designed with a vision of making campuses across India more sustainable and green, and promote the idea and the necessity of the same among the college going youth of this country. The "Green Campus Challenge" is the continuation of our efforts in direction of promoting and establishing sustainability which we took under the name of "Green Campus"in the year 2010-11.
Registered teams implement and conduct various activities over a wide range of domains which are the major components of our environment and have been affected adversely by unplanned development and growth. Teams are free to choose any number of activities from various domains and conduct them in their campus. They will be awarded points on basis of efforts they have put into making their campus more sustainable. The activities range from conducting a quiz, recycling waste to setting up a rain harvesting system, auditing greenhouse gas emissions in their city, organizing a green march in their city. The activities will be such to create awareness as well as apply practical solutions to the existing problems on these issues.

All that is – is nature
ReplyDeleteThe nature of nature
Is defined by nature
That which is defined by nature
We call natural
Nature forms us, births us, shapes us
Yet we aspire not to nature
But un – natural
Trying to be …not
An impossibility of nature........
